One of the greatest things about modern Europe is the Schengen Zone. It allows us to roam freely across the EU. It’s something, we quite often take for granted. Having a stroll along the border to Belgium or just hopping for groceries to Germany. In the Netherlands free border movement is something obvious and not questioned. We all benefit from it. But how often do we appreciate it?
In JEF we love the free movement. That’s why JEF Enschede got together with JEF Munster and they decided to organise a party. From a small gathering of two local sections our Cross Border party, turned into gathering of a large portion of JEFers from the Netherlands and Norden Westfalia. Unlike some politicians, we know that Open borders are better. 🙂
